In an open letter to gamers, Hulst said that the situation in the global game distribution market is returning to normal, so Sony Interactive Entertainment can already afford to release boxed editions of The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima. The games will go on sale on June 19 and July 17, respectively, exclusively on PlayStation 4.

“I want to personally thank the Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch Productions teams for their work and congratulate them on their success. After all, we all know how difficult it was to reach the finish line in the new reality. Both teams have worked hard to create world-class games, and now we are looking forward to the moment when in a couple of months the players will be able to experience everything for themselves. Finally, I want to thank the PlayStation community for their patience, dedication, and support."
