Akasa Newton PX and Plato PX products announced. These cases are made of aluminum, and the finned outer sections act as heatsinks to dissipate heat.
Newton PX is compatible with NUC8v5PNH, NUC8v5PNK, NUC8i3PNH and NUC8i3PNK boards. Dimensions are 176,6 Γ 200 Γ 53,6 mm. Inside there is room for a 2,5-inch drive up to 9,5 mm thick. The front panel has two USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.
The slimmer Plato PX chassis accepts the NUC8v7PNH, NUC8v7PNK, NUC8v5PNH, NUC8v5PNK, NUC8i3PNH, and NUC8i3PNK boards. The dimensions of this solution are 247 Γ 240 Γ 38,5 mm. It is possible to install a 2,5-inch drive. The set of connectors on the front panel includes two USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports.
It is noted that the cases allow you to create silent nettops with the ability to operate around the clock. There is no information about the price yet.
