Double Damage Games Studio of its space-adventure series, Rebel Galaxy, has announced the release date for Rebel Galaxy Outlaw outside of the Epic Games Store (EGS).
As it became known, Rebel Galaxy Outlaw will reach Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on September 22, that is, more than a year after the release on the Epic Games digital store.
βWe understand that the expectation did not amuse us, and definitely you. Behind the scenes, there was a lot of process that we are not at liberty to talk about, but know that we tried our best to do everything necessary to release the game on consoles, βthe authors assured.
The Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is not yet available for pre-order on the listed platforms. The game page will appear in console services simultaneously with the release. The cost of the project will not change compared to the EGS version - $30.
Despite the announcement of the release date and price, Double Damage Games did not provide any illustrative materials (screenshots, videos) on the versions of Rebel Galaxy Outlaw for new platforms.
In the announcement message, the studio also warned of a calm period to come, with Double Damage Games Community Manager Anna Marie recuperating from surgery over the next few weeks.
As a reminder, Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is a prequel to the original game and offers a full-fledged story campaign with dialogue mechanics, βalmost 40β star systems to explore, the ability to play different roles (trader, pirate, mercenary) and over 20 hours of music.
