Avellone wasn't free to reveal the details of the game, but he did share his perspective on the experience of working on the project. β€œIt was good to work with Respawn. The director of the project is Stig Asmussen, [who had a hand in] God of War 3, I've never met or worked with him before, but he has a really strong vision, and moreover, he is able to convey it, - said Chris Avellone. β€œSo he came up with a very good project plan. I also knew Fallen Order Lead Narrative Designer Aaron Contreras. He was also one of the key developers Mafia III. And I always wanted to work with him. So this was my chance. And it was great to work with both of these guys."

The writer of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order also said that working with Lucasfilm was a pleasure. The company responsibly approached the notes and explained the reasons why they wanted to change some aspect.
