Renowned screenwriter Chris Avellone spoke to WCCFTech about his work on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at the Reboot 2019 event.
Avellone wasn't free to reveal the details of the game, but he did share his perspective on the experience of working on the project. βIt was good to work with Respawn. The director of the project is Stig Asmussen, [who had a hand in] God of War 3, I've never met or worked with him before, but he has a really strong vision, and moreover, he is able to convey it, - said Chris Avellone. βSo he came up with a very good project plan. I also knew Fallen Order Lead Narrative Designer Aaron Contreras. He was also one of the key developers
The writer of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order also said that working with Lucasfilm was a pleasure. The company responsibly approached the notes and explained the reasons why they wanted to change some aspect.
According to his LinkedIn page, Avellone worked as a narrative designer/writer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for about a year. His contributions focused on the main story, characters, and cinematic scripts. The freelance writer is currently working on Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, Dying Light 2, Alaloth - Champions of The Four Kingdoms and Kevin Levine's unannounced Ghost Story Games (BioShock series).
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launches November 15, 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
