Beyond's Major VR Update for No Man's Sky Coming August 14th

If at launch the ambitious No Man's Sky disappointed many, now thanks to the diligence of the developers from Hello Games, who roll up their sleeves and continue to work, the space project has received much of what was originally promised and is again attracting players. For example, with the release of a major update NEXT the game of exploration and survival in a procedurally generated universe has become much richer and more engaging. We have already written that in the summer its owners will receive No Man's Sky: Beyond - another big free update that will bring a lot of innovations. Now Hello Games has revealed that Beyond will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 14th.

This will be the seventh major update to No Man's Sky since launch in 2016 (Foundation, Path Finder, Atlas Rising, NEXT, The Abyss and Visions), and according to the developer, this is the largest chapter that will be the culmination of several areas of the application effort.

Major Beyond VR update for No Man's Sky coming on August 14

The main component of Beyond is full virtual reality support on PC and PS4. This is an addition that fans have been asking for for a long time and, judging by the early response from the press, the implementation promises to be of very high quality. The second component, No Man's Sky Online, was announced even earlier. A radically updated multiplayer environment will allow you to explore the world and play with a new level of comfort - the developers say nothing more.

The Hello Games team is not talking about the third and final component of Beyond at all. However, the upcoming update, as the creators emphasize, will not require subscriptions, will not contain micropayments, and will be free for all existing players. Fortunately, we don’t have long to wait for the launch and full announcement.
