ID-Cooling has announced the SE-224-XT RGB universal processor cooler: the new product will go on sale in the middle of next month at an estimated price of $30.
The product is of the tower type. The design includes an aluminum radiator and four heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm. The latter have direct contact with the processor cover, which increases the efficiency of heat dissipation.
A 120 mm fan with a thickness of 25 mm is responsible for cooling the radiator. The rotation speed is controlled by pulse width modulation (PWM) in the range from 900 to 2000 rpm. An air flow of up to 96 cubic meters per hour is formed. The noise level varies from 16,2 to 31,5 dBA.
The cooler is equipped with multi-color lighting, the operation of which can be controlled through compatible motherboards manufactured by ASUS, GIGABYTE, MSI and ASRock.
The new product is suitable for use with Intel processors in the LGA2066/2011/1200/1150/1151/1155/1156 version and with AMD chips in the AM4 version.
The maximum thermal power dissipation (TDP) of a cooled processor can reach 180 W.
