Studio Night School has announced that the adventure Afterparty will be released on PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on October 29.
In Afterparty, you play as two recently deceased best friends, Milo and Lola, who are on the verge of a bottomless eternity in Hell. But they learned that there is an insignificant chance of salvation: if you drink Satan too much, you can return to the earthly world.
The studio's previous game, Oxenfree, was famous for its extraordinary plot and instantly responsive dialogue system. In Afterparty, Night School studio has gone further and offers even more features. The game will pay close attention to how you influence the friendship between Milo and Lola: who you warm up to, whose plans you follow, what compromises you make. By the end of the story, the characters' relationships will be completely shaped by your choices, and subsequent playthroughs will give completely different results.
Afterparty will also be available to Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One subscribers at launch.
