LEGO Ventures head of marketing Robert Lowe believes that Fortnite's impact on the gaming industry points to the potential for the action game to become "the first solid metaverse."
LEGO Ventures is a division of the LEGO Group that invests in entrepreneurs, ideas and start-ups that are at the intersection of creativity, learning and play. Robert Lowe also argues that the concept of the metaverse within digital media is something that the company is particularly interested in.
