Lenovo has announced the Chromebook 10e tablet computer running the Chromes OS operating system, designed for use primarily in the educational field.
The device has a reinforced design: it is made in accordance with the MIL-STD-810G standard. The screen is protected from damage with durable Dragontrail Pro glass. A plug-in keyboard with spill protection will be available for the gadget.
The tablet is equipped with a 10,1-inch display. It is possible to control with a special pen. There is a 2-megapixel camera on the front and an 8-megapixel camera on the back.
The basis is the Mediatek Helio P60T processor with eight cores. The chip functions in tandem with 4 GB of RAM. The capacity of the flash drive is 128 GB.
Claimed battery life on a single battery charge up to 10 hours.
The Lenovo Chromebook 10e will go on sale in March and will be available for an estimated price of $269.
