Lenovo, according to the resource Notebook Italia, may soon announce a completely new series of portable computers.
Now Lenovo laptops are divided into several key families. These are, in particular, ThinkPad laptops for business users, as well as IdeaPad and Yoga devices for ordinary consumers.
The new laptop series may reportedly be named ThinkBook or ThinkBook S. Lenovo has already demonstrated models with 13,3-inch and 14-inch displays. The devices are made in a metal case, and the lid with a Full HD screen can be tilted 180 degrees.
To date, laptops are known to carry an Intel Whiskey Lake processor (in particular, a Core i7-8565U chip with four cores at a frequency of 1,8-4,6 GHz), up to 16 GB of RAM and an SSD with a capacity of up to 512 GB. We are talking about the possibility of installing a discrete graphics accelerator AMD Radeon 540X.
It is noted that in the European market laptops Lenovo ThinkBook S may debut this month. The price will allegedly be around 1000 euros.
