LG Electronics announced the development of an AI Chip processor with artificial intelligence (AI) for use in consumer electronics.
The chip contains LG's proprietary Neural Engine. It is claimed to mimic the operation of the human brain, enabling the efficient execution of deep learning algorithms.
The AI ββChip uses AI imaging tools to recognize and distinguish between objects, people, spatial features, and more.
At the same time, intelligent means of analyzing audio information allow you to recognize voices, as well as take into account noise parameters.
Finally, AI tools are provided for determining physical and chemical changes in the surrounding space.
The AI ββChip processor, as noted by LG, is able to work efficiently even without an Internet connection. In other words, AI features are available locally.
It is assumed that the chip will be used in "smart" vacuum cleaners and refrigerators, intelligent washing machines and even air conditioners.
