LibreOffice stops generating 32-bit builds for Linux

Organization Document Foundation announced to stop generating 32-bit binary builds of LibreOffice for Linux. The change will take effect starting with release 6.3, which is expected on August 7th. The reason is the low demand for such assemblies, which does not justify the resources spent on compiling, testing, maintaining and distributing them. The bulk of Linux users install LibreOffice from distributions rather than downloading from the main project site.

The source code will retain 32-bit support, so Linux distributions can continue to ship 32-bit packages with LibreOffice, and enthusiasts can build newer versions from source if needed. There will be no more official 32-bit builds for Linux (for Windows, 32-bit builds will continue to be published unchanged).
