A year after its closure, Linux Journal returns to work under the leadership of Slashdot Media (owns and operates the technical news site Slashdot and the portal for open source software developers SourceForge).
The editors do not yet have plans to resume the subscription model, all new content will be published free of charge on LinuxJournal.com.
The editors also ask that any former Linux Journal contributors or Linux enthusiasts who wish to take part in this project again or for the first time should contact them.
