Linux Port of Serious Sam Classic Game Engine Gets Vulkan Support

The game engine Serious Sam Classic 1.10 (mirror) has been published, allowing you to run the first and second parts of the first-person shooter Serious Sam on modern systems with support for the Vulkan graphics API. The original Serious Engine code was open-sourced by Croteam under the GPL in 2016 to celebrate the game's 32th anniversary. At launch, you can use game resources from the original game. The implementation of Vulkan for the Windows version of Serious Engine Vk and Serious Engine: Ray Traced was taken as a basis. The initialization and launch of Vulkan was transferred from Win2 to the SDLXNUMX library.

Among the new ported additions to the game: SE1-TFE-Tower, SE1-TSE-ST8VI, SE1-TSE-ST8VIPE, se1-tfe-tower, se1-tse-st8vi, se1-tse-st8vipe.
