Thanaclara shared screenshots of emails from Lucasfilm representatives. The company stated that the author should remove all references to the studio and the Star Wars franchise from his project. Naturally, for a remake, this means oblivion, since Thanaclara is no longer allowed to use even the corresponding models of warships.

Fans of the remake hope that the enthusiast will be able to apply the best practices for other works or large companies will notice him and hire him. We remind you that the original Star Wars: Rogue Squadron was released in December 1998 on PC and Nintendo 64. In the remake, Thanaclara managed to create and demonstrate updated locations, ships and some visual effects in videos.
