Lutris v0.5.3

Release of Lutris v0.5.3, an open gaming platform designed to make it easier to install and run GNU/Linux games from GOG, Steam, Battle.net, Origin, Uplay, and more using specially prepared scripts.

Innovations:

  • Added D9VK option;
  • Added support for Discord Rich Presence;
  • Added the ability to launch the WINE console;
  • When DXVK or D9VK is enabled, the WINE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE variable is set to 1 to prevent 32-bit games from crashing;
  • Lutris remains minimized when launching games via shortcuts;
  • The state of the right panel is now updated when adding/removing shortcuts;
  • The working directory no longer leads to /tmp;
  • Switched PC-Engine emulator module from pce to pce_fast mode;
  • Made some changes for future Flatpak support;
  • Updated Lutris logo.

Corrections:

  • Fixed crash due to incorrect GOG certificates;
  • Fixed a bug due to which an erroneous dialog appeared, reporting the absence of provided files;
  • Fixed crash when receiving unexpected data from xrandr;
  • Fixed a bug that caused anti-aliasing to not work in some games;
  • Fixed sorting of games whose names begin with small case characters;
  • Fixed a bug with the process monitor, which led to the impossibility of launching some games;
  • Fixed a bug that caused some options and external executables to fail to run when ESYNC was enabled;
  • Fixed problems with restoring .dll files when disabling DXVK/D9VK;
  • Fixed some issues on systems with non-English locales
  • Fixed some distro-specific Lutris issues on Ubuntu and Gentoo.
