Wolfenstein: Youngblood is only two and a half months away, and MachineGames has already begun communicating with fans. Development lead Jerk Gustafsson took to Reddit to talk about what Quake or a multiplayer shooter like Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory would love to do.

The transition from a single-player story-based shooter to a class-based multiplayer is quite a massive process. But MachineGames has another series in mind - Quake. “Quake is the reason I got into games. Opening WorldCraft and designing levels, creating maps for Quake was one of the best experiences of my life - I still do it. Quake development (revisiting Quake 1) is and will always be on my list of goals, but working with Wolfenstein and working closely with my heroes, id Software, is also very cool.
