Mail.ru Group reported on the inclusion of the Kaspersky Online File Reputation security service in its Atom web browser, which automatically checks files downloaded from the Internet for security.

Kaspersky Online File Reputation is based on a global threat intelligence system, complemented by an impressive database of dynamic whitelists and Kaspersky Lab's expertise in legitimate software. The online service analyzes files downloaded from the Web and provides information about their reputation. Thanks to this, the user can find out whether a particular file is malicious or potentially dangerous.

Atom Browser was released by Mail.Ru Group in February 2019. The web browser is based on the Chromium open source project and is currently in beta for the Windows platform. You can download the distribution kit of the program on the website browser.ru.
