Mail.ru Group launches a corporate messenger with a high level of security. New service will protect users from possible data leakage, as well as optimize business communication processes.
With external communication, all users from client companies are verified. Only those employees who really need it for work have access to the internal data of the company. After the dismissal, the service automatically closes access to the history of correspondence and documents for former employees.
Large companies with increased security requirements can use a special (on-premise) version of the messenger: then they can deploy the service infrastructure on their own servers.
For mere mortals, the versions are divided into free and extended.
The free version includes standard features: audio and video calls, group chats and channels, file sharing, and so on. The extended version is sold with additional technical support and chat control features, as well as data encryption. Its price depends on the number of users: if the team has less than 30 people, then 990 rubles per month, if from 100 to 250 - 2990 rubles.
Mail.ru Group offers a web version of the service, as well as applications for Windows, Android, iOS, macOS and Linux. Starting today (September 12), the messenger can be downloaded from the Apple and Google stores.
The company's specialists estimate the potential annual revenue from the messenger at "hundreds of millions of rubles." Mail.ru Group is already negotiating the introduction of a new product with 10 clients.
