The Manjaro Linux desktop distribution will now be curated by Manjaro GmbH & Co. KG, created with the support of Blue Systems (one of the main sponsors of KDE).
In this regard, the following key points have been announced:
- full-time developers and maintainers will be hired;
- the company will manage donations, provide spending on equipment, events and specialists;
- the Manjaro community will remain in a leadership role;
- the company's efforts will focus on the prompt delivery of security updates and the fulfillment of user desires;
- another goal is to bring an amateur project to a professional level in general.
