Mastodon is a decentralized social network consisting of many servers connected in one network.
The new version adds the following features:
- GIF and WebP support for custom emoji.
- Logout button in the dropdown menu in the web interface.
- A message that text search is not available in the web interface.
- Added suffix to Mastodon::Version for forks.
- Animated custom emoticons move when you hover over them.
- Support for custom emoji in profile metadata.
The changes are as follows:
- Standard web interface and streaming changed from 0.0.0.0 to 127.0.0.1.
- The limit on the number of repeated push notifications has been changed.
- ActivityPub::DeliveryWorker no longer throws an HTTP 501 error.
- Privacy policies are now always available.
- Archiving is forbidden, for example on archive.org, when the user has set the noindex tag.
Safety:
- Fixed an issue where invites would not turn off when an account was suspended.
- Changed blocked domains from which accounts could still appear.
