The Yandex company has become the official supplier of software for multimedia car systems of Renault, Nissan and AVTOVAZ.
We are talking about the Yandex.Auto platform. It provides access to various services - from the navigation system and browser to music streaming and weather forecast. The platform assumes the use of a single thoughtful interface and voice control tools.
Thanks to Yandex.Auto, drivers can interact with the Alisa intelligent voice assistant. This assistant will tell you how much to drive to the desired point, tell you about the weather, build a route, etc.
βWe will be able to integrate Yandex.Auto into more than 2 Renault, Nissan and LADA vehicles over the next five years. The multimedia system will be built into the cars at the conveyor stage, so that the owners of new cars will not have to worry about anything. They will receive a ready-made set of convenient Yandex services in a new car from the salon, βsays the Russian IT giant.
It should be noted that the Yandex.Auto system is already being integrated into new Toyota and Chery cars. Other partners of the company include KIA, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, etc.
The on-board computer "Yandex.Auto" can also be purchased separately and installed instead of the standard multimedia system on some models of Volkswagen, Skoda, Toyota, etc.
