Meizu 17 could be the company's first 5G smartphone

More recently, Meizu officially presented flagship smartphone 16s, equipped with a 6,2-inch Super AMOLED display (2232 Γ— 1080 pixels), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and a dual-core camera (48 million + 20 million pixels). As was said during the China Unicom Partner Conference, the novelty will receive support for fifth-generation mobile networks. Thus, it is Meizu 17 that can become the company's first 5G smartphone.

Web sources have also released live photos purporting to show a sample of the Meizu 17 model. The device is said to borrow design features from the Meizu Zero concept smartphone completely devoid of connectors and physical buttons.

However, the commercial version of Meizu 17 is likely to retain the USB Type-C port. The device is credited with having a fingerprint scanner in the display area, a Snapdragon 855 chip, at least 6 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of at least 128 GB.

Unfortunately, nothing has been reported about the timing of the official announcement of the Meizu 17 model.
