Meizu has introduced an improved version of its proprietary Flyme 8 shell, called the "April 14 update", which is currently still in beta testing. The update contains a lot of innovations, and also fixes the problems of previous builds.

Flyme 8 has become much more functional. In the new version of the proprietary firmware, Meizu has added dynamic wallpapers, new emoji and customizable vibration intensity. It is also worth noting a significantly improved clipboard.

Many problems have also been fixed. An issue has been fixed where Xunyou Mode, designed to speed up graphics processing in demanding games, was not functioning properly. The new firmware will be available for the following devices:

Owners of the aforementioned phones can already install the "April 14th update", but they will have to do it manually, since the firmware is still in beta testing at the moment. However, there is reason to expect that the company will release a stable firmware version for all supported smartphones in the near future.
