ArtVostok studio from Omsk has presented a new trailer dedicated to its arcade kart racing β Meow Motors. More precisely, the video is dedicated to the upcoming August 2 release of the project on Xbox One. Previously, cat rides have already been released in versions for PS4 and PC.
In Meow Motors, all the main characters (and there are 10 of them) are unique cats with their own habits, unique disposition and their own cars. Players, according to the law of the genre, will have to overcome difficult tracks on their way to the finish line, bypass mines and bombs, stop rivals with unusual weapons and collect amplifiers.
Three race modes are available: regular circuit races; drift to test skills in difficult turns; and strike, where the task is to destroy rivals. There is even a story campaign in which it is proposed to assemble a team, defeat Master Duke and find out his terrible secret. Passing the championship, players will receive new team members, cars, amplifiers. Supports local split-screen multiplayer with up to 4 players.
Those who wish can now buy Meow Motors in the PC version with a 34% discount - for only β½237 (the promotion ends on July 9). Judging by the page on Steam, the ratings of the project are very positive (88% rating), but the responses themselves are very small - about 70.
