Already at the first stage, the operator is ready to allocate β€œseveral billion rubles” for the implementation of the project. The system being created will include a radar network for detecting and tracking drones, as well as IT platforms for flight control and service aggregation using drones.

The MGTS optical network will be used to exchange data between drones and the system complex in Moscow. This UTM system will be available to customers with any form of ownership in any city in Russia, for which they will need to use a special application connected to state information systems for checking and exchanging data.

MGTS believes that the most promising areas for the implementation of the platform are logistics, transport, construction, entertainment, security, as well as delivery, monitoring and taxi services.

According to a Kommersant source familiar with the company's plans, MGTS provided for the development of the project in three directions: through a concession with the state, through a service model based on tenders, and through the sale of services. In the first two options, the collected data will belong to the state.
