The gadget, as noted, is being created under a project codenamed Centaurus. A team of specialists has been working on this device for approximately two years.

We are talking about a kind of hybrid of a tablet and a laptop, in which the displays will be located on both halves of the case. Due to this, all kinds of operating modes will be implemented, including with a virtual keyboard.

It is noted that the Windows Lite operating system can be used as a software platform on the device. This platform will have to compete with Chrome OS.

Unfortunately, there is no information on the timing of the announcement of Centaurus at the moment. However, given the fact that the Windows Lite operating system will not debut until next year, we can assume that Microsoft's dual-display laptop will show its face in 2020.

The Redmond giant itself has not yet commented on the information that has appeared on the Internet.
