Microsoft has released another update to the 2004 Preview Office suite (build 12730.20024, Fast Ring) for Windows-based desktops. This latest update gives Office 365 subscribers the ability to easily add high-quality, curated images, stickers, and icons to personal or professional documents, files, and presentations.
We are talking about the ability to freely use over 8000 free images in Office applications. Moreover, the company promises to expand the number of available photos and icons over time.
It works simply:
- the user needs to select from the menu "Insert"\uXNUMXe "Pictures"\uXNUMXe "Stock Images";
- then select the type of content to search: stock images, people figures, icons, or stickers;
- after that, you need to enter keywords in the search bar, select an image and then click the "Insert" button.
Microsoft has also made fixes to all applications in the package. New features have also been introduced: for example, personal notes have been added to Word for shared documents that are not available to other users for viewing.
PowerPoint also has a new feature. For a long time, PowerPoint did not allow you to display changes made to slides by other users during a presentation. While some presenters still prefer the former option, Microsoft has provided additional flexibility by allowing changes to be synchronized as they are made, even if the presentation is in slideshow mode.
Access has added an "Add Tables" option that makes it easier to navigate to tables and queries. It works like this: you need to select "Work with databases"\uXNUMXe "Data schema"; then the "Add Tables" area should appear on the right side of the screen (if it is not there, you need to right-click and select "Show Tables").
Outlook now supports adding high resolution (original) resolution images in PNG, JPEG, BMP, GIF formats to emails. Previously, when users inserted photos or pictures into Outlook messages, they were compressed to a resolution of 96 pixels per inch.
