Microsoft to Launch Xbox Game Pass on PC

Microsoft has announced that the popular Xbox Game Pass console service will be available to PC owners.

Microsoft to Launch Xbox Game Pass on PC

Recall that Xbox Game Pass was launched two years ago on Xbox One. The workflow on PC will remain the same as on console: you pay for a monthly subscription, and in return you get access to an extensive library of games. Every month the list of projects available under the program is updated.

When it arrives on PC, it will provide unlimited access to over 100 Windows 10 games, and the Xbox Game Pass shared library will include titles from over 75 partners including Bethesda, Deep Silver, Devolver Digital, Paradox Interactive, SEGA and many others. “In addition, all service subscribers will be able to take advantage of exclusive discounts on games and add-ons from the Xbox Game Pass catalog, as well as receive all new Xbox Game Studios projects immediately on the day of release,” the company said in a statement.

The second great news concerns the release of Microsoft projects on Steam. In the future, more than 20 games from Xbox Game Studios will go on sale not only in the Microsoft Store, but also on Steam, including Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Gears 5, Age of Empires I, II and III: Definitive Edition. “Over time, the Xbox team will expand the number of stores where projects from the company’s internal studios will be available, because the future of gaming is a world without restrictions, where any user can play their favorite games on any available device, and the player himself is always in the center of action,” adds corporation.

Microsoft will talk more about the Xbox Game Pass PC version during the Xbox briefing, which will be held on June 9 at 23:00 Moscow time as part of the E3 2019 exhibition.
