In Bugsnax, you play as a journalist who has been invited to Snack Island by Elizabeth to announce their greatest discovery, Bugsnax, which everyone loves so much. Arriving at your destination, you begin to hunt, feed monsters and unravel the mysterious mysteries of the island.
On Snack Island, you'll meet Philbo Fiddlepie, Mayor of Sneaksburg, and try to find out about Elizabeth Megafig from the furry monsters. Each of them has something to tell, but getting the characters to talk is not so easy. You have to hunt bugsnexes with a wide range of traps and feed them to monsters - only then will they reveal their secrets and even agree to an interview.
Many gamers on the Web are speculating about who these Bugsnexes really are, whether they are harmless to eat, and why they are so tasty. In addition to this, there is a theory that Bugsnax is not just an adventure with colorful characters, but a real thriller. This is indicated by the trailer endings.
