CompuLab, together with the developers of the Linux Mint operating system, are preparing to release the MintBox 3 computer, which combines such qualities as relatively small dimensions, speed and noiselessness.
In the top version, the device will carry an Intel Core i9-9900K processor of the Coffee Lake generation. The chip contains eight processing cores with multithreading support. The clock frequency varies from 3,6 GHz to 5,0 GHz.
The video subsystem includes a discrete graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. We are talking about the presence of 32 GB of RAM and a solid state drive with a capacity of 1 TB.
The computer has passive cooling, so it does not produce noise during operation. Dimensions are 300 Γ 250 Γ 100 mm.
The mentioned Linux Mint operating system is used as a software platform. A wide variety of interfaces are available, including DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A.
In a configuration with a Core i9-9900K processor, the computer will cost approximately $2700.
