Trendfocus, according to Forbes, has summed up the results of a study of the global HDD market in the third quarter of 2023. In unit terms, sales amounted to approximately 28,6 million units, which is 8,2% less than in the second quarter, when 31,2 million discs were sold. A downward trend in supplies has been observed since the beginning of this year. At the same time, in terms of the total capacity of sold devices, an increase of 0,61% was recorded - up to approximately 196 EB. The total revenue of HDD manufacturers decreased by 7% on a quarterly basis.
