Mobile Microsoft Office received support for Android-smartphones with two screens

The smartphone industry is constantly evolving, offering users new opportunities. As an example of this development, consider smartphones with two displays, such as the recently introduced LG V60 ThinQ 5G. However, in order to fully realize the capabilities of two displays, optimization of the software used by the device is necessary. One of the applications that underwent such optimization was the Microsoft Office suite.

Mobile Microsoft Office received support for Android-smartphones with two screens

Some time ago, developers from Microsoft released a new Office application, which combines Word, Excel and PowerPoint. This application has become more compact and easy to use. Microsoft Office for Android has been reportedly optimized to run on dual-screen devices such as the LG V50 ThinQ, LG G8X ThinQ or LG V60 ThinQ.

This will make the process of interacting with the application more comfortable. For example, users will be able to open two Word documents at the same time on different screens to compare or perform some other action. It is expected that the updated Microsoft Office application will be able to unleash its full potential on other dual-display smartphones.

We will probably see more apps designed for dual-display smartphones in the future. This will be facilitated by Microsoft's pre-release SDK for its own dual-display Surface Duo smartphone. With it, developers will be able to create new applications for devices with two displays.
