The Life Control 2.0 system features an updated interface and higher functionality. It should also be noted the support of SIM-cards of all mobile operators, reduced prices for devices and the availability of a free plan. In addition, device developers will be able to take advantage of the open platform concept.

The ecosystem of "smart" home devices Life Control was founded by MegaFon in 2016. Its new owner invested more than $1,5 million in the project. These funds were used to develop new software, a new mobile application and update the server infrastructure, which improved the functionality and stability of the system.

Representing a set of sensors connected to a single local control center - Hub, Life Control allows you to control the operation of equipment in the house, monitoring various aspects, from water leaks to air quality, as well as ensuring security and video surveillance. The system is controlled remotely using a mobile application for iOS and Android devices. The system also provides a wired connection to the Internet channel via the RJ-45 connector.

The control center has the functions of a Wi-Fi router, and the available built-in batteries ensure its autonomy.

The system's support of several communication protocols at once - ZigBee, Z-Wave, Bluetooth and RF-radio channel - in the center of the smart home ensures the implementation of the concept of an open platform, which allows third-party component manufacturers to become part of the ecosystem.

Key differences between Life Control 2.0 and Life Control:

  • New mobile application.
  • New user interface.
  • New server infrastructure.
  • Support for SIM-cards of any mobile operators.
  • Support for wired internet connection.
  • Reduced device prices.
  • Reduced user rates
  • Implementation of the open platform concept.

For existing Life Control subscribers, the company canceled the monthly fee for the transition period.

In the near future, Mobile Teleport plans to implement voice control support for the entire complex. It is also planned to add to the system such devices as switches, dimmers for lighting control, water and gas shut-off devices, multifunctional relays (controlling the opening of gates, roller shutters, barriers, locks), outdoor video surveillance cameras, a thermostat (heating, ventilation control), a universal module (interfacing with outdated systems without Internet access), a device for reading meter readings.
