ASUS has announced the TUF Gaming VG27VH1B monitor, designed specifically for use in desktop gaming systems.
The device measures 27 inches diagonally. A Full HD panel with a resolution of 1920 Γ 1080 pixels is used. Brightness is 250 cd/m2, contrast is 3000:1.
The monitor provides 120 percent coverage of the sRGB color space and 90 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Horizontal and vertical viewing angles reach 178 degrees.
The panel has a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response time of 1 ms. The new product supports the AMD FreeSync system, which synchronizes the frame rate between the graphics card and the monitor. This improves the smoothness of the gameplay.
The ASUS GamePlus suite of tools is worth mentioning: it includes a crosshair, timer, frame counter and a picture alignment tool in multi-display configurations.
The monitor is equipped with 2-watt stereo speakers, HDMI 2.0 and D-Sub interfaces. The stand allows you to adjust the angles of tilt and rotation of the display.
