Lenovo, a few days before the official opening of the IFA 2019 exhibition, which will be held in Berlin (Germany) from September 6 to 11, introduced a large number of computer innovations for the consumer market.
In particular, compact laptops IdeaPad S340 and IdeaPad S540 with 13-inch display were announced. They are endowed with a tenth generation Intel Core processor, a maximum of 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics accelerator.
The IdeaPad S340 laptop boasts a light weight (1,3 kg), while the IdeaPad S540 model has a QHD screen. In addition, the IdeaPad S540 version supports RapidCharge fast charging and can work with a voice assistant (Cortana or Alexa).
IdeaCentre A540 all-in-one desktop computer announced. It is equipped with a ninth-generation Intel Core i7 chip and an AMD Radeon RX560 discrete graphics card. Buyers will be offered versions with a display size of 24 inches and 27 inches diagonally. For the older model, a QHD format panel is available, and the younger one is optionally equipped with an AMD Ryzen chip.
Monoblocks support wireless smartphone charging, even if the PC itself is turned off. The IR camera features an integrated TrueBlock Privacy shutter for an extra layer of security.
The listed laptops and all-in-ones are based on Windows 10. For those who prefer an alternative operating system, Lenovo will offer Chromebook c340 and S340 laptops based on Chrome OS. The first of these two models is equipped with a touch display that can be rotated 360 degrees to put the device in tablet mode. The screen size can be 11 or 15 inches.
Notebook S340, in turn, has a 14-inch touch panel format Full HD. Claimed battery life on a single battery charge reaches 10 hours.
For desktop systems, Lenovo will offer a 28u monitor - a 28-inch 4K panel with a resolution of 3840 Γ 2160 pixels. If your PC has an AMD graphics card, the monitor has AMD Radeon FreeSync technology available for smoother gameplay. And TΓV Rhineland Eye technology minimizes eye fatigue.
Another novelty is the Lenovo G34w Gaming monitor. This 34-inch gaming-grade model has a concave shape. A QHD matrix is ββused, and the refresh rate reaches 144 Hz.
Lenovo is also introducing the second generation of its flagship Android tablets, the Tab M7 and Tab M8, with Wi-Fi and LTE options available to choose from. These tablets are ideal for families with children and offer extensive multimedia features. Lenovo Tab M8 can play video for 12 hours and Lenovo Tab M7 for up to 10 hours.
