Speaking to Vandal, Monolith Soft CEO and creator of the Xenoblade Chronicles series, Tetsuya Takahashi, said that the studio is focused on growing the Xenoblade Chronicles brand and will continue to release games under it.

"In terms of giving Monolith Soft more variety, I'd like to do a smaller project if the opportunity arises," he said. “But for now, I think we should focus on increasing the value of the brand that we've built from Xenoblade Chronicles. Of course, if we manage to organize ourselves in such a way that this is possible, I would still like to give a chance to a small project.”

For example, there is a more detailed and friendly quest log showing the location of the target, be it an item or an enemy.

According to rumors, the action of the project will unfold in the world of medieval fantasy, although it is quite possible that this will be the entourage of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. In addition, the studio is helping with the development of the continuation The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
