Mortal Kombat 11 withdrawn from sale in Ukraine

Last week, Ukrainian users noticed oddities when going to the Mortal Kombat 11 page on Steam and PlayStation Store. In the first case, an error appeared, and in the second, a message saying "the product is not available in your region." Then everything was written off as a bug, but it turned out that the WB Games publishing house really removed the fighting game from sale on the territory of Ukraine.

The PlayUA publication turned to the support of the company and received an answer. The game will not be distributed in the aforementioned country due to the peculiarities of the legislation. What exactly is at stake, the publisher did not specify. Users suggested that this was due to the ban on Soviet symbols and the appearance of Scarlet. It is available only for the purchase of a special edition of the project in Russia, but on the territory of Ukraine Mortal Kombat 11 is also distributed by SoftClub. It seems that the configuration of the game in the two states does not differ, therefore a similar decision was made.
