Pearl Abyss has published fresh details and screenshots of the online multiplayer shooter Plan 8.
Recall that the lead producer of Plan 8 is the former artistic director of the Black Desert Online environment, Seung-ki Lee, and Minh Le, who took the role of technical consultant, is a co-author of the original Counter-Strike. The project is being developed on the proprietary engine Pearl Abyss. The game combines elements of an open world MMO, dynamic shooter gameplay and high-quality graphics.
In Plan 8, your character will wear an exosuit that offers various abilities such as superhuman strength. Each exosuit has its own characteristics that directly affect the battles. This will allow you to think through the strategy in skirmishes due to the advantages and disadvantages of equipment. Players will also be able to use the exosuit's abilities outside of combat, such as climbing up walls or jumping over high walls and buildings.
According to Pearl Abyss, a key feature of the game is finding and equipping exosuits with upgrades.
