Sharkoon has announced the SHP Bronz series PSUs with 500W and 600W models, which will be offered at an estimated price of €45 and €50 respectively.
New items are certified 80 PLUS Bronze. Claimed efficiency is at least 85% at 50% load, and at least 82% at 20% and 100% load.
The devices are enclosed in a black case with dimensions of 140 × 150 × 86 mm. Cooling is provided by a 120mm low noise fan. The design of the cooler uses a plain bearing.
The UVP (under voltage protection), OVP (over voltage protection), OPP (over power protection) and SCP (short circuit protection) systems are responsible for safety.
Modular cable system, unfortunately, is not provided. The MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) is claimed to be at least 100 hours.
