The new chip will replace the HiSilicon Kirin 980 product. This solution combines eight computing cores: an ARM Cortex-A76 duo with a clock frequency of 2,6 GHz, an ARM Cortex-A76 duo with a frequency of 1,96 GHz, and an ARM Cortex-A55 quartet with a frequency of 1,8 .76 GHz. The integrated ARM Mali-GXNUMX accelerator is responsible for graphics processing.

The HiliSilicon Kirin 985 processor is likely to inherit key architectural features from its progenitor. The chip can receive improved neuroprocessor modules designed to accelerate the execution of operations related to artificial intelligence and machine learning.
