One of the first smartphones to support ultra-fast 120-watt recharging may be the flagship device of the Chinese company Xiaomi, as reported by Internet sources.
We are talking about a model with the code M2007J1SC, which is being created under the project codenamed Apollo. Information about the device appeared on the Chinese certification site 3C (China Compulsory Certificate).
3C data suggests that a charger with the designation MDY-12-ED is being prepared for the smartphone, providing a power of 120 W (in 20 V / 6 A mode). This will completely replenish the battery's energy in a matter of minutes.
According to the available information, the equipment of the Apollo device will include a high-quality display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a small hole for the front camera. Silicon "heart" will allegedly serve as a top-level processor Snapdragon 865 Plus clocked at up to 3,1 GHz. Of course, the new product will be able to function in 5G mobile networks.
The official presentation of the Apollo model is expected next month. It can be assumed that the price of the flagship smartphone will exceed $500.
