CCP Games has announced that the EVE Russia 2020 event will not take place in Moscow due to the coronavirus pandemic.
βWe understand that this news may upset our Russian-speaking community, but we believe that in this situation it is most important to adhere to the chosen precautions. Our priority is the safety and health of all participants, employees and residents of the capital. That is why, after a long discussion, we have made this difficult decision, βthe statement says.
The EVE Russia 2020 event was scheduled to take place on June 13 and 14 at The Center Hall. This year would have been a fan meeting with CCP Games CEO Hilmar Veigar PΓ©tursson and the developers of EVE Online.
The money spent on EVE Russia 2020 tickets will soon be refunded by CCP Games.
