So far, the fix is ​​only available for normal desktop versions of Firefox. A fix has not yet been generated for Firefox ESR and Firefox for Android. In addition, there may be issues with builds of Firefox installed from packages on Linux distributions.

There was also a problem for Tor Browser users. The NoScript add-on stopped working there. As a temporary solution offered in about:config set xpinstall.signatures.requiredentry = false.

To speed up the delivery of updates, it is recommended to go to Firefox Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Allow Firefox to install and run studies and activate research support, then in about:studies check that hotfix-reset-xpi-verification-timestamp-1548973 is active . After applying the patch, research can be disabled.
