The developers claim that, unlike free counterparts, the VPN service they created does not capture user network traffic and does not remember the history of visited web resources. In the description of the application in the Play Store digital content store, there is some information about the new Mozilla product. The official website of Firefox Private Network VPN says that the service was created in collaboration with the developers of the open source virtual private network Mulvad VPN. Instead of more traditional protocols such as OpenVPN or IPsec, the Firefox Private Network service is based on the WireGuard protocol, which provides faster performance. Users will be able to work through servers located in more than 30 countries using up to five simultaneous connections.

At the moment, you can use the VPN service through an application for the Android platform, as well as a desktop version of the client for Windows 10. In addition, Mozilla has released a special extension for the Firefox browser. Since the Android app is in beta, it is currently only available to a limited number of users. At the moment, you can use the service for $4,99 per month, but it is possible that by the time the service is fully launched, the cost of services will be revised. It is likely that in the future the service will become available on more software platforms.
