MSI Introduces B550M Pro-Dash Motherboard for Ryzen 3000 Budget Systems

MSI has expanded its range of motherboards based on the recently released AMD B550 system logic with a new model called B550M Pro-Dash. The novelty received a fairly simple equipment and is intended primarily for creating budget systems based on Ryzen 3000 processors.

Motherboard MSI B550M Pro-Dash is made in Micro-ATX form factor. To the right of the Socket AM4 processor socket there are four slots for DDR4 memory modules, in which you can install up to 128 GB of RAM with a frequency of up to 4400 MHz (in overclocking). The set of expansion slots includes one PCIe 4.0 x16 and two PCIe 3.0 x1.

For storage connectivity, the B550M Pro-Dash has four SATA III ports and two M.2 SSD slots, one of which supports PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 and SATA III, while the other is PCIe 3.0 only.

The Realtek RTL8111EPV gigabit controller is responsible for network connections on the new board. Sound processing is handled by the Realtek ALC7,1 892-channel codec. The rear connector panel has VGA, DisplayPort and HDMI video outputs, as well as four USB 3.0 ports, a pair of USB 2.0, a universal PS / 2 for a mouse or keyboard, an RJ45 network port and three 3,5 mm audio jacks.

Unfortunately, the cost of the MSI B550M Pro-Dash motherboard has not yet been named, but it is unlikely to be high. The novelty should go on sale in the foreseeable future.
