We are talking about the transmission of a video stream in 360-degree format. To view immersive content, you will need a VR helmet. In addition, users will be able to connect to the platform using any device with a browser and Internet access at a speed of at least 20 Mbps.

At first, the broadcasts will be free. However, then MTS plans to provide access to content by subscription or for a one-time fee of up to 250 rubles.

Market participants, however, say that such a service will become truly in demand only after the mass deployment of fifth-generation mobile networks (5G) in our country. Active implementation of this technology will begin in Russia only in 2022 and will last at least ten years.

One way or another, by the end of this year, MTS plans to present up to 15 recordings of major events and up to five live broadcasts within the framework of the new video platform.
