Master & Dynamic launched their first MW07 wireless headphones last year. However, they lacked one of the key features - noise reduction.
This gap has been corrected in the New York-based company's new device, the MW65 Active Noise Canceling (ANC) headphones.
The MW65 full-size wireless headphones feature much the same design as the company's predecessor, the MW60, with the same rugged cowhide headband and ear cups, soft lambskin leather on the ear cups and headband interior.
The MW65 uses Bluetooth 4.2 wireless technology to connect to paired devices with a range of 65 feet (19,8 m). The declared battery life of the device is up to 24 hours in listening mode without recharging. Thanks to the fast charging function, you can replenish the battery capacity of the headphones by 15% in just 50 minutes.
The MW65 is priced at $499, $50 more than the MW60. This is much more expensive than the cost of popular noise-cancelling solutions from Sony and Bose. The same Sony WH-1000XM3 or Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones can be purchased for $350 or even less.
