Techland Senior PR Manager Aleksandra Sondej in my microblog commented on the information previously voiced by the Polish portal PolskiGamedev about the potential sale of the Microsoft studio.

“We remain independent”: Techland commented on rumors of interest from Microsoft

Recall that yesterday PolskiGamedev, citing “rumors that reached the editors” announced an upcoming announcement Techland deals with an American platform owner. The announcement supposedly should sound within the framework of Today's episode of Inside Xbox.

“In case you're wondering, Techland hasn't been bought by any other publisher. We are still an independent studio that will release Dying Light 2 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4,” Sondey said.

In her own words, Sonday expressed the position of the entire studio, whose unnamed representative upon request portal WCCFTech also commented on the situation: "We remain independent and are not negotiating this issue with anyone."

In addition to information about the possible sale of Techland, PolskiGamedev, citing an anonymous employee of the studio, also spoke about what is happening "total messwith the development of Dying Light 2.

The process of creating an ambitious zombie action game is allegedly hampered by constant creative conflicts and the uncertainty of the team leaders in the chosen direction for the project. At Techland itself, production troubles are denied.

Dying Light 2 was supposed to be released this spring, but in January, the developers postponed the release games, because they did not have time to realize all their ideas by the originally announced deadline.
