Xiaomi Group CEO Lu Weibing today announced that more than just a smartphone will be shown to the public during the presentation of the Redmi K30 Pro. Information about which product (or products) will be presented along with the smartphone has not yet been received.
The basic version of Redmi K30 is the current flagship of the Xiaomi subsidiary and is presented in two modifications: for 4G and for 5G networks. The new K30 Pro model is designed to replace the base Redmi K30 as a flagship. According to reports, the smartphone will receive a dual-band 5G module, support for Wi-Fi 6, LPDDR5 RAM, built-in UFS 3.0 storage and a pop-up front camera.
Unfortunately, it is unknown what exactly the Chinese tech giant plans to show with the Redmi K30 Pro. There is speculation that the manufacturer may introduce new devices related to the Internet of Things (IoT). Xiaomi will probably present new Wi-Fi routers supporting the Wi-Fi 6 standard under the Redmi brand, the Redmi Tablet or the Redmi Band fitness tracker.
